The development, construction and the distribution of specific equipment for different procedures for the refinement of surfaces such as tumbling (mass-finishing), electro-polishing, passivating, anodizing, dry or wet-blasting are competences which KKS acquired over many years of successful business-activity.

- Tumbling equipment
- In this specific segment of surface finishing KKS has since many years a close cooperation with the company Rollwasch. The company Rollwasch is one of the very few companies in this segment which does develop and produce all components needed (Tumbling machines, process media, peripheral equipment). The combination of the experience of the company Rollwasch in this specific segment and the daily application in our own Medical Surface Center do guarantee efficient solution which are modeled to your specific needs and your parts.

- Equipment for Electrolytic Polishing or Passivation
- Electrolytic Polishing or Electropolishing and passivation are procedures which are used for the refinement of metal-surfaces in the general industry as well as the medical technology since decades. These processes do optimize the characteristics of the surfaces in many ways. Electropolishing or passivation of stainless steel with equipment developed and produced by KKS does guarantee the requested efficiency and the ease of use of these procedures. Depending on the size and the weight of the parts they can be treated as bulk-goods or individually.

- Equipment for Dry-Blasting
- Dry Blasting is a process where a jet consisting of a mixture of compressed air and blasting media is well directed onto the surface of the part which has to be treated. Through this process the topography of a surface can be modified in a defined manner. KKS has developed many solutions in this segment, from the simple blasting unit up to very complex automated units made entirely in stainless steel and polyurethane coating with integrated process control.

- Equipment for Wet-Blasting
- Wet-blasting is an alternative to dry-blasting. A jet consisting of a mixture of blasting media, water and compressed air is directed onto the surface of the part which has to be treated. As the blasting media is embedded into the jet of water, the wet blasting is a much less aggressive and gentler procedure then the dry-blasting. The latest development of new components such as feeding pumps, the spry gun with the nozzle by KKS do ensure a long lifetime of the equipment and the components as well as minimal contamination of the treated parts.
